5+ years expLHH is partnering with a growing, tech-enabled organization expanding its Accounting team. The role involves managing operational accounting activities and collaborating closely with senior leadership to ensure accuracy and clarity across cross-functional cost centers.

Responsibilities
Managing operational (marketing, sales, ops.)‑ related accounting activities, including actuals vs. projections
Working closely with senior leadership, including weekly meetings with Senior Leadership
Overseeing amortization of prepaids tied to usage and spend patterns
Managing business impact programs, including tracking related inventory, revenue, and operating expenses
Supporting ongoing operational accounting needs and ensuring accuracy and clarity across cross‑functional cost centers
Contributing to month‑end close, reconciliations, reporting, and various ad hoc projects
Qualification
Required
5+ years of senior-level corporate accounting experience in a mid-to-large company or 3+ years of experience directly from public accounting - preference to mid to large / national to big 4 sized firms
Ability to manage a defined set of responsibilities with accuracy, accountability, and initiative
A collaborative communication style, especially when partnering with leaders in non-finance functions
Comfort navigating recurring responsibilities with regular interactions across the business
Curiosity around process improvements and desire to understand the 'why' behind numbers
Solid Excel skills; experience with, or interest in learning, SQL or analytical tools - highly desired
