Responsibilities

Inspect piece parts, components, and electro-mechanical assemblies (e.g., cable assemblies, structural hardware)
Read and interpret engineering drawings, test plans, and assembly instructions
Perform material verification and inspections, generating inspection reports and documentation
Identify and document non-conformances and assist in initiating root cause analysis
Use standard measurement equipment (micrometers, calipers, multimeters, etc.) for inspection and calibration
Support acceptance testing and generate test documentation
Assist with receiving inspection, documentation control, and calibration processes

Required

High School Diploma/GED required
5+ years of experience in a quality control environment under ISO9001/AS9100 or in DoD, Aerospace, or Automotive manufacturing
Proficient with standard inspection tools: micrometers, calipers, multimeters, etc
Able to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications
Experience generating inspection documentation (inspection reports, bubble prints, Certificates of Conformance, NCRs)
Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
Strong communication and collaboration skills within multi-disciplinary teams
U.S. Citizenship required
Must currently hold or be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

Preferred

Experience inspecting complex aerospace hardware and supporting Material Review Board (MRB) processes
Familiarity with AS9102 First Article Inspection and Acceptance Data Pack review/creation
Knowledge of AS5553 counterfeit prevention practices
Experience in handling non-conforming materials and writing/processing NCRs
Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs
