Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and installation of enterprise wireless solutions, including controllers, access points, and management platforms
Monitor network performance and perform advanced troubleshooting to resolve complex connectivity issues across wireless and wired infrastructures
Deploy and manage Cisco Spaces to leverage network data for location tracking, wayfinding, and environmental monitoring
Utilize the Ekahau Measurement Device (Sidekick) to perform professional-grade RF site surveys, validation, and spectrum analysis to ensure optimal coverage and capacity
Utilize modern network management tools such as Cisco Catalyst Center to automate workflows and enhance network visibility
Implement and maintain industry-standard security protocols to protect the integrity of the wireless network
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in network wireless engineering
Must hold a current CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or ACE-A (Arista Cloud Engineer Associate) certification, or a verifiable equivalent
Strong proficiency in configuring and managing Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC)
Hands-on experience with Ekahau software and hardware for survey and validation
Familiarity with Cisco Spaces (formerly DNA Spaces) for IoT and location-based services
In-depth knowledge of 802.11 standards and RF site survey methodologies
Preferred
An Associate's or higher degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related networking discipline
Experience with Cisco DNA / Catalyst Center is highly desirable
