Responsibilities
Support upcoming engineering activities at our Phoenix location
Focus on the Design and Analysis of Aircraft Structures, Turbines and other Mechanical Components
Participate in regular meetings to discuss and coordinate drafting and design details with clients, designers, engineers and management
Qualification
Required
3-5 years Mechanical Engineering experience
1-3 years Ansys experience
A good understanding of mechanical component design, modeling and drafting
Demonstrated design, modeling and drafting experience to include detailing of mechanical systems and components
Must be a self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills
Must be able to utilize the MS office suite of products
Requires a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field
All qualified applicants must be U.S. Citizens
Preferred
Experience utilizing Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus
The ideal candidate should have experience designing mechanical components, aircraft structures, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, gas turbines or aircraft components
