Revenue Cycle Education Manager

This role is responsible for leading the design, development, and delivery of eLearning and instructor-led training programs focused on revenue cycle applications across various settings, while also managing complex personalities and expectations with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

Leading the design, development, and delivery of both eLearning and instructor-led training programs
Focusing on revenue cycle applications across various settings, such as Patient Access, Health Information Management and Coding, Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, and the Single Billing Office
Building curriculums, integrating Epic and on-the-job training, and supporting centralized training efforts
Managing complex personalities and expectations while interacting daily with senior leadership
Being flexible with variable on-site requirements and occasional weekend training during go-live events
Becoming Epic certified within 90 days on the job

Leadership and influence - proven ability to work with and influence leadership (Directors, Executive Directors, VPs), including the ability to push back professionally and escalate issues appropriately
Curriculum Development - Experience designing and implementing training programs across the full revenue cycle, with a focus on both Epic systems and practical, service-based learning
Training Delivery - Skilled in onboarding and facilitating full-day training sessions, including Epic credentialing and hands-on patient interaction modules
Strategic thinking and project management - Ability to see the broader organizational impact of training initiatives and manage projects from a strategic and operational perspective
Adaptability and Flexibility - Willingness to work on-site as needed, including weekends during go-live events, and adjust to varying schedules and locations. Capable of managing difficult personalities and high-pressure environments with professionalism
Must become Epic certified within 90 days on the job
