The Architect of the Capitol (AOC) is responsible for the maintenance and operation of significant national landmarks. The selected candidate will implement the Architect's mission and goals by managing organizational facility and asset management to enhance operational performance and services.

Required

You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position
You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement
Comprehensive knowledge and experience managing assets in support of architecture, engineering and/or facilities management programs for large organizations similar in scale and breadth
Coordinating the development and implementation of a strategic asset management program that focuses on Enterprise Asset Management Systems (EAMS) for an organization of similar size and scope
Applies appropriate analytical, evaluative and measurement techniques to improve performance and ensure compliance with program policies, procedures and operations
Ability to analytically develop asset management reports; brief those results to executive leadership; and provide recommended solutions with associated action plans
Candidates for the GS-14 grade level must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower (GS-13) grade level in the Federal service
