Responsibilities
Responsible for providing direct care and medication assistance to the residents in a manner that meets or exceeds Community expectations
Keep accurate care records
Follow outlined procedure, physicians' orders, and state laws when assisting or supervising residents with medications. Exhibit an understanding of and be willing to follow medication policy and procedures
Qualification
Required
Must possess valid First Aid Certifications
According to state regulations may need to possess current CPR
Certified Nursing Assistant Certification state certifications
Must pass an examination and/or skills evaluation
Must meet requirements for continuing education and maintain all license(s)
Speak read and understand English fluently
Prolonged periods walking or standing
Must be able to lift, carry, and place up to 25 pounds at a time
Must be able to bend, stoop and push constantly
Preferred
High school diploma or equivalent certificate
Competent history in a similar facility
Experience working in Assisted Living
