Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on Cleans/Wet Etch equipment following standard work procedures
Maintain and service equipment such as:
+ SCP 9400 Wet Hoods
+ Screen WS 820L Wet Hood
+ Akrion GAMA Wet Hood
+ FSI Mercury
+ Semitool SST and SAT
+ Novellus Sabre (Cu Plater)
Monitor and analyze tool performance data; recommend improvements to maintenance procedures
Communicate equipment status clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
Provide detailed written updates to engineers and technicians across shifts
Rebuild and clean subassemblies for semiconductor equipment
Support subfab equipment and manage chemical handling tasks
Ensure adequate inventory of consumables for subassembly rebuilding
Follow written procedures with precision and attention to detail
Apply knowledge of electronic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems
Maintain professional conduct in a fast-paced production environment
Uphold 5S principles and maintain organized workspaces
Qualification
Required
2–5 years of experience in semiconductor equipment maintenance
Strong mechanical and electronic troubleshooting skills
Ability to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings
Demonstrated problem-solving and project management abilities
Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) in manufacturing
Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours per shift
Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office and Excel
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Capable of working independently with minimal supervision
High school diploma or equivalent
2–3 years of experience in equipment maintenance and/or parts management
Preferred
3–5 years of wafer fab experience focused on production equipment
Completion of 12+ credit hours toward an Associate degree in electronics from an accredited institution
