Recruiter & Business Development Partner
Vertex Innovations, Inc. is seeking an experienced In-House Recruiter to support the company’s rapid growth across Data Center, Wireless, and Mission Critical Infrastructure services. This role is responsible for full-cycle recruiting of W-2 employees and managing the external recruiting ecosystem while contributing to business development efforts to expand the partner and client base.

Responsibilities
Execute full-cycle recruiting for W-2 employees across all Vertex business lines, including: Data Center (QA/QC, Commissioning, Engineering, PMs, Technicians), Wireless Infrastructure, Mission Critical & Critical Facilities roles
Partner with hiring managers to: Define job requirements and success profiles, and create the job descriptions and job postings, Align compensation bands and hiring urgency, with HR support and leadership approval on salaries outside of the target range, Coordinate interviews and hiring decisions
Manage candidate pipelines from sourcing through offer and onboarding
Ensure hiring practices align with Vertex standards, culture, and compliance requirements
Maintain accurate recruiting data, metrics, and reporting
Build, operate, and continuously improve the Vertex Recruiting Network (VRN)
Distribute open positions to Vertex-contracted recruiting firms
Manage recruiter submissions, candidate queues, and prioritization
Coordinate and schedule: Technical interviews, Panel interviews with Vertex SMEs and leadership
Enforce recruiting standards, submission quality, response times, and performance metrics
Serve as the primary point of accountability for external recruiting partners
Work with outsourced sourcing and staffing partners to supplement internal recruiting capacity
Manage candidate flow, screening quality, and throughput
Ensure alignment between sourcing partners and Vertex hiring priorities
Identify inefficiencies and optimize recruiting velocity and quality
Act as a Business Development contributor during slower recruiting periods, and to the extent they do not interfere with recruiting responsibilities
Identify, engage, and onboard new companies and partners that support Vertex’s core service areas
Develop relationships with: Specialty staffing firms, Technical service partners, Strategic vendors aligned with Data Center, Wireless, and Mission Critical markets
Coordinate with Vertex leadership to qualify and integrate new partners into the operating ecosystem
Support long-term growth initiatives by expanding Vertex’s market reach and delivery capacity
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in technical recruiting, preferably within: Data Centers, Construction / Infrastructure, Mission Critical or Industrial services
Demonstrated experience managing external recruiters and staffing partners
Strong understanding of W-2 hiring models and recruiting workflows
Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
Ability to operate autonomously while aligning with executive-level priorities
Preferred
Prior recruiting experience in a high-growth, fast-paced services company
Familiarity with: QA/QC and Commissioning roles, Electrical, Mechanical, and Critical Facilities positions
Experience blending recruiting and business development responsibilities
Comfort working directly with senior leadership and technical SMEs
