Responsibilities

Oversees and coordinates large-scale, low voltage property technology installations, including managed Wi-Fi, package lockers, access control, security gates and cameras for new and current apartment communities, from inception to completion
Frequently collaborates with IT and project management office resources and vendors for managed Wi-Fi installations across multiple properties within a geographically distributed portfolio. Reports and resolves critical issues in coordination with on-site property management
Develops and maintains installation project schedules and ensures all milestones and deadlines are met. Coordinates with project management office resources and assists with all technical aspects of managed installation projects
Prepares, maintains, and communicates installation project status reports to internal stakeholders (e.g., IT, asset management, project management office)
Travels frequently to conduct regular on-site property visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise
Troubleshoots and resolves network and low voltage issues to ensure optimal performance
Ensures compliance with company low voltage standards, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and any other related federal, state, or local industry regulations
Maintains technical knowledge and expertise through continuous learning and development
Performs other related duties as assigned to meet the needs of the business

Required

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, information technology, or a related technical field required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Network and low voltage troubleshooting experience required
