The role involves providing high-level technical support for Firepower Firewalls, troubleshooting network issues, and collaborating with federal customers to resolve problems.

Responsibilities
Effectively assess the customer’s situation and help develop an action plan that will result in a resolution
Provide support during critical network issues as well as leading a caseload of lower critical issues, specifically with Firepower Firewalls
Spend 50% of the day taking customer calls for support that fall within the network monitoring space
Work backlogs (cases that have accumulated and need to be resolved)
Work with other engineers and/or in the virtual lab to reverse-engineer the customer's issue to derive troubleshooting steps for resolution
Qualification
Required
Firepower Experience: troubleshooting and configuring as well as ability to utilize Firepower to determine where in the chain something is broken
Communication/soft skills to effectively assist customers who are technical as well as non-technical
This person needs to be a self-starter who does not require hand-holding
They need to be able to figure things out quickly
Great customer service skills, communication, written and verbal, collaboration and work independently
Must be very outgoing and team-oriented
