Responsibilities
Receiving Operations: Receive materials from manufacturing orders and outside vendors. Verify quantities against paperwork, record transactions in the system, and place materials in designated storage areas
Inventory Control: Ensure all materials are consistently and clearly labeled. Maintain tidy shelving and storage areas
Cycle Counting: Perform accurate and detailed cycle counts. Research inaccuracies to verify if items were misplaced or if clerical errors occurred, ensuring inventory levels match the system
Production Support: Pick and stage jobs for the production floor. Communicate with the production coordinator to identify the correct jobs and notify them of any material shortages
Line Replenishment: Move product to the production floor in a timely manner to reduce downtime. Perform regular "milk-man runs" throughout the day to ensure floorstock bins are adequately replenished
Shipping Backup: Support the shipping department as needed by assisting with the packaging and shipping process during peak times or absences
Qualification
Required
At least two years of related experience in a warehouse or manufacturing inventory role is required
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to accurately record transactions in an inventory management system and maintain detailed documentation of adjustments
Excellent attention to detail with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment
Strong analytical skills to research inventory discrepancies and verify material locations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills for coordinating with production and shipping teams
Ability to walk and stand throughout the duration of the shift
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds consistently
