Responsibilities
Function as a consultant to internal business partners regarding technology and process solutions
Facilitate finding, developing, and implementing viable technology solutions by working with teammates, internal IT groups, external service providers, and business partners
Provide guidance to internal business partners by identifying available technologies to solve complex requirements
Interface with internal business partners, IT groups, and external service providers to implement new systems and modify existing systems
Facilitate and lead requirements workshops
Functionally deconstruct, analyze, and document internal systems, problems, processes, and business needs
Define business requirements and test cases using structured methodologies
Lead documentation of business requirements, test cases, use cases, and design thinking exercises
Provide written and verbal project updates to IT and business management
Develop and deliver training on new or revised system functionality to educate users and support personnel
Qualification
Required
Minimum 5+ years of experience working as a Senior Systems Analyst
Proven experience with Report Builder
Experience using Power BI Desktop
Experience using Power BI Semantic model in Report Builder reports
Medium to advanced SQL writing experience
Experience with report conversions
Must list years of experience and last use of required tools on resume
United States citizenship required
Excellent communication skills with confidence collaborating with business partners, presenting findings, and gathering feedback
Ability to lead, collaborate, and work effectively across multi-disciplinary teams
Experience in information technology, business/technology consulting, or utility-focused business groups
IT experience in a large-scale environment across multiple hardware and software platforms or business unit experience working closely with IT on large-scale system implementations
Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent required
Preferred
Optional experience with Power Automate
Optional experience with Cognos
Optional experience converting reports from Cognos to Power BI
