Responsibilities

Assist in data gathering and preparation of various tax workpapers and documentation for tax provision reporting as well as tax compliance purposes (e.g. fixed assets reconciliations, permanent and timing tax adjustment analysis, etc.)
Support tax research projects by gathering data, reviewing regulations, and summarizing findings
Assists in preparation of all returns related to corporate income tax, state and local tax, franchise and excise tax, US property tax and sales and use tax
Assist in preparation of all information reporting processes
Other duties and special projects as assigned

Qualification

Required

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, etc.)
High attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines
Excellent attitude towards manager/supervisor, employees
Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive timely at assigned location ready to work on assignments (corporate office or remote)
Commitment to the highest ethical standards and willingness to adhere to Forvia's Code of Ethics and Code of Management

Preferred

Previous internship experience in Accounting/Finance is preferred, but not required
1-3 years Accounting, Tax, Finance, courses
