Responsibilities
Room patients efficiently and prepare them for provider visits
Obtain and accurately document vital signs, patient history, and chief complaints
Assist providers with dermatologic procedures and treatments
Utilize EPIC EMR for timely and accurate clinical documentation
Provide practical nursing and clinical support in accordance with the Minnesota Nurse Practice Act, professional standards, and clinic policies
Support multiple clinic areas as needed with flexibility and a team-oriented approach
Advocate for patient safety, confidentiality, and patient rights
Deliver high-quality patient care in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic environment
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing
Current, active LPN license in the state of Minnesota
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Professionals through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) (Online-only BLS certifications not accepted)
Graduate of a Medical Assisting program accredited by CAAHEP or ABHES
Current BLS certification for Healthcare Professionals through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC) (Online-only BLS certifications not accepted)
Preferred
Experience using EPIC EMR
Prior patient rooming experience
Willingness to jump in, learn, and support clinic needs as they arise
