Sr Engineer - Systems Engineering

GE Aerospace is seeking a Gas Turbine Integration Leader to support the LM2500 program. The role involves leading product integration activities, managing engineering priorities, and ensuring the alignment of customer needs with systems engineering processes.

Responsibilities

Leads product integration activities that span multiple components and products, integrating for maximum performance and operability. Manages product and systems requirements, specifications, and flow down. Drives validation and verification activities for the overall product/system, including system level testing
Responsible for defining product requirements for the gas turbine/module/component and partners teams. Manages interface between modules and execution organizations
Responsible for driving CTQ / Risk trades within the teams designing the modules and components. Manages the overall product configuration and configuration control system
Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Has ability to influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility
Interprets internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work. Works seamlessly across external partners
Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision
May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view
Utilize Flight Deck principals and tools to solve problems and optimize execution of assigned tasks. Fosters an environment of continuous improvement

Required

Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college
Minimum 8 years of applicable engineering experience
