The Lash Lounge Austin is an award-winning, locally and woman-owned salon specializing in semi-permanent eyelash extensions. They are seeking a highly motivated marketing intern to assist with social media content creation, marketing strategy, and brand awareness efforts.

Consumer Services

Responsibilities

Assist the CEO in creating a marketing strategy and calendar for 2026
Create and schedule social media content for multiple platforms
Monitor all social media platforms for trending news, ideas, and feedback
Proofread email campaigns prior to scheduling
Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media and community awareness)
Research and evaluate competitor marketing and digital content
Develop brand-compliant assets and copy for social media
Create and schedule Instagram reels
Schedule social media content 30+ days in advance
Organize, edit, and post stylist photos to Google, Yelp, Facebook Albums, and IG stories/highlights

Required

Must have a passion for marketing
Proficient with social media strategies, trends, and platforms
Flexible work schedule

Experience with content creation
Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Outstanding multitasking abilities
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program
A good understanding of the latest marketing trends and techniques
Experience leveraging AI tools
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Experience with photo editing and video creation
