Haystack is collaborating with Raytheon to offer an exciting opportunity for a Software Security Engineer II. The role involves designing, developing, integrating, and testing real-time missile software with a strong focus on security, while collaborating with the Systems Security Engineering team and interfacing with the customer community.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, integrate, and test real-time missile software with a strong focus on security
Apply System Security principles to software applications
Develop software using C/C++ and scripting languages on various platforms
Understand and implement real-time software design with security performance implications
Collaborate closely with the Systems Security Engineering team to define and implement requirements
Interface with the customer community for technical design reviews and system verification

Required

Bachelor's in STEM and a minimum of 2 years of relevant software experience
Proficiency in C/C++ programming
Experience working in Agile or similar development environments
Experience with scripting languages like Python or Perl
Ability to obtain and maintain an interim Secret U.S. security clearance (U.S. citizenship required)

Preferred

Experience with cryptography
Experience with secure boot concepts
Experience with MPSoC/FPGA devices
Experience with VxWorks
Experience with Embedded Linux
