Responsibilities

Lead Component Obsolescence Team serving as the primary technical point of contact for PAC-3 electronics hardware for Launcher and Missile
Help direct build-up of subassemblies after component LTB; LM and supplier
Monitor production completion of LM “make” assemblies when consuming Obsolete components
Awareness/tracking of configuration updates, system compatibility across missile, launcher, and sensor platforms
Key interface with EvDev/Prod Obsolescence counterparts
Key interface with Spares, Inventory, Failure Analysis, Reliability, Depot, to drive conversation on impact of obsolescence, config updates, and future needs
Shape relationships and communication flow between all PAC-3 Obsolescence partners
Semi-annual SOR: set agenda, coordinate with USG, guide power point slides development, run slide reviews, lead meeting

The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance
Lead Component Obsolescence Team serving as the primary technical point of contact for PAC-3 electronics hardware for Launcher and Missile
Help direct build-up of subassemblies after component LTB; LM and supplier
Monitor production completion of LM 'make' assemblies when consuming Obsolete components
Awareness/tracking of configuration updates, system compatibility across missile, launcher, and sensor platforms
Key interface with EvDev/Prod Obsolescence counterparts
Key interface with Spares, Inventory, Failure Analysis, Reliability, Depot, to drive conversation on impact of obsolescence, config updates, and future needs
Shape relationships and communication flow between all PAC-3 Obsolescence partners

Proven problem solver with excellent troubleshooting, communication, and leadership skills

Preferred

DoD Secret Clearance
EE HW design experience or ME with electromechanical design experience
Clear and open communicator
Presentation/speaking skills
Leadership experience/potential
Ability to teach and train
Ability to juggle multiple tasks concurrently
Knowledge of or experience in obsolescence management
PAC-3 system-level knowledge, experience with design of PAC-3 components, experience working with USG and/or suppliers
