Responsibilities
Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, timeliness, and condition of shipments
Assess current processes, make recommendations, and implement improvements
Issue work orders or oral instructions to determine work assignments, material, or equipment needs
Operate Reach Truck and other warehouse vehicles when needed
Ensure that cargo is identified and inspected before loading and unloading and compared to the shippers
Ensure discrepancies are documented and handled according to proper procedure
Inspect material handling equipment for defects and notify maintenance accordingly
Compile records related to shipping and receiving
May assist workers in shipping and receiving activities
Qualification
Required
Hi-Lo/Forklift experience
Reach Truck experience is needed
Use of RF scanner
Loading and unloading
Picking and packing
Cycle Counting
