Responsibilities

Designing, modeling and detailing CCAs, harnesses and related mechanical structures that meet size, weight, power and environmental constraints
Creating and maintaining mechanical and electrical drawings (conceptual, detail, assembly and installation) that adhere to Lockheed Martin standards
Developing component specifications, equipment layouts and network diagrams for military grade applications
Performing trade studies and design review analyses to optimize performance, manufacturability and cost
Generating complete release packages (3 D models, 2 D drawings, BOMs and design assurance documentation) for CCA/PCB builds
Coordinating with cross functional teams—including structural, thermal, software, test and quality—to support integration, assembly and verification activities
Supporting prototype fabrication, bench testing, troubleshooting and failure analysis to ensure hardware meets program requirements
Maintaining configuration control and documentation in LM PLM tools (e.g., Windchill) and ensuring traceability throughout the product lifecycle
Providing technical guidance to junior engineers and promoting best practice design methods
Traveling as needed to supplier sites, test facilities or program milestones while primarily working onsite in Orlando

Required

Must be a U.S. citizen
Ability to obtain a secret clearance
Experience in designing, modeling and detailing CCAs, harnesses and related mechanical structures
Experience creating and maintaining mechanical and electrical drawings (conceptual, detail, assembly and installation)
Experience developing component specifications, equipment layouts and network diagrams for military grade applications
Experience performing trade studies and design review analyses
Experience generating complete release packages (3D models, 2D drawings, BOMs and design assurance documentation)
Experience coordinating with cross functional teams (structural, thermal, software, test and quality)
Experience supporting prototype fabrication, bench testing, troubleshooting and failure analysis
Experience maintaining configuration control and documentation in LM PLM tools (e.g., Windchill)
Experience providing technical guidance to junior engineers
