Responsibilities
Partner with clients to design and deliver GenAI-ready data platforms and architectures
Build and maintain data pipelines and feature stores that support LLM and GenAI use cases
Prepare, transform, and model data in Snowflake using advanced SQL for AI and analytics workloads
Design data models and semantic layers to support consistent metrics, retrieval, and AI-driven insights
Enable retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and AI applications by curating and structuring high-quality datasets
Collaborate with ML engineers, data scientists, and application teams to productionize GenAI solutions
Support data governance, quality, and security requirements for AI use cases
Lead client-facing technical discussions and act as a trusted advisor on GenAI data foundations
Contribute to internal GenAI accelerators, reference architectures, and best practices
Qualification
Required
3+ years of experience in data engineering, AI data engineering, or ML data engineering roles
Strong experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data warehouses
Advanced SQL skills for transformation, modeling, and feature engineering
Experience enabling machine learning or Generative AI use cases through data pipelines
Familiarity with semantic layers (dbt Semantic Layer, LookML, MetricFlow, or similar)
Understanding of data preparation for LLMs, embeddings, and vector-based retrieval
Experience working in client-facing or consulting environments
Strong communication skills and comfort translating business problems into technical solutions
Preferred
Experience with RAG architectures, vector databases, or embedding workflows
Familiarity with GenAI tooling and frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI APIs)
Exposure to feature stores, MLOps practices, and model monitoring
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience supporting enterprise GenAI governance, security, and compliance
