Responsibilities
Understand company policies and procedures; audit for compliance
Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reporting, data, flowcharts etc
Strong sense of commitment to compliance with all applicable directives and regulations
Accessibility and willingness to act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality, and achievement of goals
Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls
Identify discrepancies, risks, and other problems; recommend appropriate corrective measures
Document audit-test work results accurately and concisely
Organize and retain adequate documentation to support audit conclusions for review by external auditors
Assist with ad hoc projects and perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong and accurate attention to detail, problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task
Ability to interact effectively with all levels and continue to maintain a high level of objectivity and independence
Self-motivated and proactive, with respect to both managing workload and professional development
Bachelor's degree in accounting or an equivalent degree
Ability to travel up to 15% of the time, including internationally
Valid driver's license
Preferred
One to three years of internal or external audit experience is a plus
