Responsibilities

Review all Civil Structural and Architectural (CSA)-related Basis of Design (BOD) and conceptual designs for constructability, value engineering, and cost with internal teams and external partners
Develop and implement CSA standards for Google data centers, including creating and managing Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) master specifications
Collaborate with internal groups, Architecture, and Engineering firms to develop strategic plans for greenfield sites, including future expansion strategies
Manage design/drafting and coordination across teams to ensure all project documents are drafted according to standards and consistently managed throughout the project life-cycle

Required

Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
12 years of experience in the design and construction of mission-critical facilities
5 years of experience utilizing digital design tools such as AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM, and Navisworks
5 years of experience with cross-functional disciplines (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical)
5 years of experience in collaborating with external construction management, architecture, and engineering firms

Preferred

Registered Architect (RA) or Structural Engineer (SE/PE) License
Experience in developing and deploying global design standards and specifications for a large, geographically dispersed portfolio
Experience in managing design/drafting processes and document control throughout the project life-cycle
Knowledge of relevant industry codes and standards, including the International Building Code (IBC), LEED, and NFPA 101
Excellent executive-level presentations, communication, and teamwork skills
