Responsibilities

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across Systems, Test, Firmware, Hardware, and Program organizations supporting military and commercial programs
Design and develop software for hardware test frameworks
Integrate software with firmware and test hardware
Validate software against customer specifications
Generate formal documentation, including Version Descriptions and Validation Documents
Install and deploy automated test software and provide instructional support to users
Troubleshoot and refine requirements for new state‑of‑the‑art imaging hardware
Track and report cost, schedule, and technical performance metrics

Required

Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience
Software development in C/C++, C#, Java, or Python with a solid understanding of object‑oriented (OO) methodologies
MATLAB programming applied to analysis, modeling, or tool development
Experience with modern IDEs such as Microsoft Visual Studio, VS Code, or MathWorks tools
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Active and existing security clearance required after day 1

Preferred

Coding with hardware interfaces such as Serial I/O and Ethernet
Use of software‑oriented diagnostic tools, including profilers and debuggers
Use of hardware‑oriented diagnostic tools such as oscilloscopes and Wireshark
Microsoft Office applications for documentation and reporting
MATLAB and/or LabVIEW for analysis, modeling, or tool development
