Responsibilities
Lead or support litigation as first or second chair in patent and technology disputes
Develop case strategy, fact development, and legal positioning
Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, Markman briefs, and expert reports
Manage discovery, depositions, and technical investigations
Work closely with engineering and technical experts
Coordinate international patent portfolio enforcement efforts
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and settlement negotiations
Advise clients on patent risk, infringement exposure, and portfolio strategy
Oversee junior associates and manage deadlines across multiple matters
Handle cross-border IP enforcement initiatives
Qualification
Required
7+ years of experience as an Intellectual Property Litigation Attorney or Patent Litigation Associate
Experience handling patent litigation in federal court
Strong drafting and motion practice skills
Experience managing U.S. and international patent portfolios
Degree in Electrical Engineering or related hard science discipline
Bar admission and Bar required in good standing
Proven production capability and client service mindset
Preferred
Portable book of business or client relationships
First- or second-chair trial experience
Technical background in computer engineering, hardware, or software
Experience with licensing or IP commercialization strategies
