Part-Time Teller
Scenic Community Credit Union is a financial institution that values its members and their stories. They are seeking a Part-Time Teller to perform routine transactions, assist members with account services, and provide excellent customer support while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities
Performs routine member transactions, including but not limited to deposits, withdrawals, cash advances, loan payments, transfers, check cashing, cashiers checks, and money orders
Possesses basic math and computer skills
Assists members in opening new accounts, and verifying the information provided with outside services, as required, and understanding eligibility requirements for membership
Is able to navigate Microsoft Office applications and the Episys Core System
Is able to post routine transactions to the computer system without needing assistance, understanding how to determine who is authorized to conduct transactions on members accounts
Examine checks for endorsements and negotiability, and understands how to place appropriate holds when necessary
Provide members with proper receipts for their transactions
Understands and can cross-sell all services offered by the credit union
Process stop payments on share drafts, ACH, and bill payments
Provide members with account status, including current balances, loan payoffs, and account history
Is able to accurately complete forms including but not limited to card orders, reloads, travel cards, card/check pick up, card disputes, and can order checks through the core
Demonstrate the ability to balance daily transactions quickly and accurately throughout the day and during the closing process, and understands and adheres to cash drawer limits
Demonstrates dependability, and the ability to work as part of a team
Able to scan member checks through ITC
Provides member phone, online chat, and email support
Able to accurately perform Shared Branching transactions, and review documentation for accuracy and completeness
Knows how to find dividend rates on deposit accounts, and can direct members to all of our branch locations, business hours, and telephone numbers. Knows how to navigate the SCCU website and can assist members in how to navigate it
Courteously responds to member requests/complaints and can direct them to the proper person if the answer is unknown
Participates in and promotes the credit union movement
