Entry Level - Audit Associate

Aston Carter is seeking an Audit Associate for a large employer in the Pittston area. The auditor associate will conduct Worker’s Compensation insurance audits to determine the customer’s actual insurance exposure and process adjustments for appropriate premium billing.

Responsibilities

Reviewing and analyzing payroll, tax, and accounting records to determine the appropriate premium base for a variety of insurance lines, including Worker’s Compensation, General Liability, and Professional Liability (a.k.a. Errors and Omissions)
Obtaining descriptions of business operations, employee job duties, and other relevant information over the phone and through email
Determine if proper insurance classification codes have been assigned to customer policies according to the state manuals and suggest class code changes when appropriate
Adjust premiums based on state manual rules, such as officer wage adjustments, premium overtime credits, tip credits, etc
Complete audit worksheets using an Excel template and process the audit findings in our database
Provide superior customer service to the policy

Required

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or Economics
6 months of professional experience (internship included)
Eagerness to learn and gain experience
Strong Excel knowledge
