Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive public relations strategies to promote the organization's mission and programs
Draft and distribute press releases, media alerts, and articles for various channels to secure media coverage
Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and industry influencers to enhance media outreach efforts
Coordinate and support events, including press conferences, community outreach programs, and fundraising activities
Monitor media coverage and public sentiment to assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and adjust as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field is required
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and storytelling
Proficient in using social media platforms and analytics tools to engage audiences and measure impact
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
Preferred
2+ years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or a similar role preferred
