Responsibilities
Handle district court patent litigation from pleadings through trial
Draft and argue motions to dismiss, summary judgment motions, and Daubert challenges
Participate in ITC investigations and PTAB proceedings
Conduct discovery, depositions, and expert coordination
Work closely with engineers and technical consultants
Assist in trial preparation and serve as first or second chair when appropriate
Draft claim construction briefs and Markman materials
Engage in licensing and settlement negotiations
Provide strategic litigation advice to technology clients
Collaborate with cross-office teams on national matters
Qualification
Required
2–6 years of intellectual property litigation experience
Experience with district court patent matters
Strong research, writing, and motion practice skills
Licensed to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Ability to manage multiple complex matters simultaneously
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Preferred
Experience with ITC or PTAB proceedings
Background in electrical engineering, computer science, physics, or related field
Experience handling technically sophisticated disputes
Interest in long-term litigation career growth
