Responsibilities
Aid the team in all aspects of investment sourcing and execution, including new investment screening, identifying potential investment targets, industry research, company analysis, underwriting and diligence processes for investment opportunities
Perform extensive analysis and financial modeling, along with development of investment memoranda
Perform ongoing monitoring, analysis and reporting on existing investments, including preparing valuations and internal reporting
Assist with a variety of internal functions, including preparing presentations for current and prospective investors and overall portfolio reporting
Support BEP team in developing and executing on investment themes and theses
Support BEP team with continued development and execution of firm initiatives
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree with strong academic record from a leading undergraduate institution
A self-starter with one (1) to three (3) years of investment banking, private equity, credit (mezzanine or leverage finance), transaction services and/or consulting experience. If background is in credit, consulting or transaction services, candidate should have extensive experience working directly with private equity sponsors
Strong aptitude for LBO financial modeling with demonstrated attention to detail
Intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills
Ability to perform broad industry research and synthesize findings into clear concise conclusions and cohesive investment theses
Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint is required along with proficiency in business intelligence and AI tools
Very strong work ethic, organizational skills and ability to multitask
Ability to travel
