Paralegal/Legal assistant
Abacus Service Corporation is seeking an experienced paralegal/legal assistant for a partner attorney with a very active litigation practice. The role involves preparing legal documents, managing case files, coordinating with clients, and handling administrative tasks to support the attorney's work.

Responsibilities
Partner with attorney in preparing legal documents, correspondence, and pleadings
Manage and organize case files and maintain documentation in electronic and physical formats
Coordinate with clients, witnesses, and other professionals to schedule meetings and appointments
Draft and proofread contracts, agreements, and other legal documents
Scheduling depositions, court hearings and other litigation events
Handle administrative tasks such as answering phone calls and maintaining calendars
Qualification
Required
At least 5 years of work experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
Proficiency in MS
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Document management skills
Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure
