Act as a hands-on technical leader, influencing multiple engineering teams through strong architecture, design, and delivery rather than formal authority
Guide organization-wide technical investments by aligning engineering decisions with company strategy and long-term business goals
Drive cross-functional improvements that elevate both product quality and engineering effectiveness beyond the boundaries of the engineering org
Design, build, and evolve highly scalable systems that reflect technical excellence and BuildOps’ core engineering values
Shape technical direction and innovation by applying industry trends and contributing to engineering-wide initiatives that improve customer experience, performance, reliability, and developer productivity
Qualification
Required
10+ years of professional software engineering experience, including deep ownership of complex, large-scale systems
Extensive experience building and scaling full-stack applications in modern JavaScript/TypeScript/Node.js/React environments
Demonstrated ability to define technical strategy, influence architectural decisions, and establish engineering standards across multiple teams
Strong track record of leading through execution, making sound technical decisions quickly in high-scale environments
Proven experience mentoring senior engineers and influencing peers through design reviews, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing
