Director of Acquisition Integration & Revenue Growth
Houchens Insurance Group is seeking a Director of Acquisition Integration & Revenue Growth to accelerate revenue contributions from newly acquired agencies. This role involves leading operational integration efforts, creating custom onboarding plans, and identifying growth opportunities across Property & Casualty and Benefits.

Responsibilities
Lead the operational onboarding process of newly acquired agencies and teams from Day 1 through stabilization
Maintain cross-functional coordination with departments such as Accounting, IT, Operations, etc. in order to ensure timelines, expectations, and responsibilities are clear and realistic
Create a custom integration plan for each acquisition based on size, business mix, systems, and team structure
Serve as the primary point of coordination between the acquired team and internal departments
Establish clear milestones that move acquisitions from transition to steady-state contribution
Assess current workflows, roles, and service models within the acquired agency
Align operational processes with our agency standards while respecting what’s already working well
Identify operational gaps or inefficiencies that may delay productivity or financial contribution
Support transitions related to:
Agency management systems
Workflows
File structure and documentation standards
Reporting and compliance expectations
Enable acquired teams to fully leverage the HIG’s broader capabilities, markets, and expertise to stabilize faster and begin contributing to the financial model sooner
Evaluate the revenue mix of each acquired location to identify opportunities for growth and expansion
Partner with P&C and Benefits leaders to identify cross-sell, upsell, and referral opportunities across the client base
Identify barriers that limit revenue growth and work with leaders to remove them
Demonstrate a strong sales mentality with the ability to influence, create urgency, and drive growth outcomes through others
Help new team members understand how work gets done and who to go to for what
Partner with leaders to identify training needs and coordinate enablement support
Act as a trusted, calm presence during change
Support clarity around roles, expectations, and capacity so teams can reach full productivity faster
Support the onboarding and ongoing development of new and existing production staff, partnering with leadership to ensure continued growth and effectiveness
Create and maintain documented integration processes and best practices
Implement improvements to future acquisition onboarding efforts
Track integration progress and flag gaps or delays
Continuously look for ways to shorten the time between acquisition close and full operational and financial contribution
Qualification
Required
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail
Ability to balance people-focused integration with business and financial outcomes
Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of Database Software, Internet software, Spreadsheet Software, and Word Processing Software
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other relevant Software
Five years of insurance experience and/or experience in insurance agency operations (strongly preferred)
Exposure to acquisitions, integrations, or large-scale onboarding efforts
Strong understanding of agency workflows and service models
