Responsibilities
Design and implement scalable ETL pipelines using AWS services (Glue, EMR, DMS, S3, Redshift)
Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models for operational and analytical systems
Optimize queries, normalize datasets, and apply performance tuning best practices
Orchestrate workflows using AWS Step Functions, EventBridge, and Lambda
Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and AWS CDK
Automate deployment and data pipeline lifecycle management
Integrate data across ERP systems (SAP and homegrown ERP platforms)
Support API-based data exchange between manufacturing, supply chain, and cloud platforms
Implement metadata management, audit trails, and compliance reporting
Monitor pipeline performance using CloudWatch , Glue logs, and data catalog tools
Troubleshoot and resolve data quality and performance issues
Qualification
Required
8–10+ years in Data Engineering, Data Architecture, or related roles
Proven expertise designing and implementing AWS data solutions
Strong experience building and optimizing ETL pipelines and orchestration frameworks
Experience integrating ERP systems (SAP or custom ERP platforms)
Strong data modeling experience (conceptual, logical, physical)
Strong performance tuning, query optimization, and ETL optimization experience
Strong integration experience with DB2, SQL Server, or similar enterprise databases
Languages: Python, PySpark, SQL
AWS Services: Glue, EMR, EC2, Lambda, DMS, S3, Redshift, RDS
DevOps: Git, GitHub, AWS CDK
Data Governance: Informatica CDGC/CDQ
Security: IAM, encryption policies
Monitoring: CloudWatch, Glue Catalog, Athena
Preferred
Supply chain domain experience
Strong enterprise data governance and compliance reporting experience
3+ years of Big 4 consulting experience
Stable work history within large enterprise organizations
