Responsibilities
Lead requirements gathering through workshops, interviews, and cross-functional collaboration
Document business needs using BRDs, user stories, process flows, and use cases
Analyze impacts of change requests, identifying risks, dependencies, and testing scope
Collaborate with QA teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage and alignment
Decompose business capabilities into actionable features and user stories
Support test planning, execution, and defect triage across project phases
Champion quality improvements via automation and AI-enhanced testing strategies
Maintain end-to-end requirements traceability and testing governance
Drive continuous process improvement in test strategy and delivery
Assist with defect analysis, knowledge management, and stakeholder communication
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field
5+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
Utility industry experience with systems such as OMS, OUA, GIS, AMI, CC&B, Maximo
Proven expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and stakeholder management
Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and process documentation skills
Exceptional communication and facilitation abilities
Preferred
Certifications: IIBA-CBAP, IIBA-CCBA, PMI-PBA
Proficiency in tools like Azure DevOps, Jira, ALM, and SQL
Familiarity with functional, regression, and integration testing
Experience in Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies
Knowledge of regulatory compliance (NERC, PSC, FERC)
Exposure to GenAI tools and AI-driven testing platforms (e.g., ACCELQ, testRigor)
Previous experience in a Testing Center of Excellence or QA organization
