Responsibilities

Lead a technical team of 10-15 consisting of developers, solution architects, quality assurance analysts, system analysts, system test engineers all at multiple levels
Be integral in their skill and career development
Collaborate with IT and business partners to support delivery outcomes that directly impacts Progressive's success and enable innovative experiences for customers and colleagues
Engage and support some of Progressive’s most critical IT Projects as well as participate in and/or lead initiatives that are key to the continuous improvement and success of the organization

Required

Minimum 4 years of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery
{OR} Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology or Business discipline or related field of study (e.g., Computer Science, Business Management) and a minimum of 1 year of work experience managing professionals, technologies, architecture, or project delivery

Preferred

Experience managing large, technically diverse teams including developers, testers/QA analysts, system analysts, and/or architects supporting enterprise-scale initiatives
Foundational knowledge of Generative AI and a strong willingness to lead team engagement, promote adoption, and integrate emerging AI capabilities into IT delivery
Strong coaching and mentoring capability, with a track record of developing IT professionals who frequently transition between projects, roles, and partner engagements
Broad knowledge of IT delivery disciplines (e.g., software development, QA, systems analysis, architecture) with the ability to lead teams through complex, multi-team project environments
Strong communication, influence, and relationship-building skills enabling effective collaboration across IT, business partners, and enterprise stakeholders
