Responsibilities
Get hands on with the full accounting cycle for a variety of clients in multiple industries with support and direction from managers and partners
Includes AP coordination, journal entries, account reconciliations and assisting in the preparation of financial statements and other month-end close related items
Train, assist, and review the work of staff accountants on the team
Participate in special projects for clients that provide further growth and learning experiences
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
3+ years of GL accounting experience, including closing the books and financial statement preparation and analysis
Experience with QuickBooks required; other accounting software a plus
Advanced Excel skills
Strong technical understanding of generally accepted accounting principles
A goal-oriented, collaborative team player
Professional approach to work, strong interpersonal skills and service oriented mindset
Ability to adapt to multiple accounting systems
Extremely detail oriented with high degree of accuracy in all aspects of reporting and communication
Good organizational skills with ability to set priorities to meet deadlines on schedule
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Ability to effectively communicate financial concepts and data
Willingness to train and develop others
