Senior LevelWomen in Cleantech and Sustainability is seeking a Senior Regulatory Compliance & Policy Manager for the Energy Department. This role involves providing technical analysis on regulatory changes and advocating for the business interests of SJCE at various regulatory bodies.

Responsibilities
Monitoring and advising internal staff about the progress of regulatory policy and rate-related proceedings
Performing independent analysis of the possible operational impacts of rate cases and regulatory proceedings
Representing SJCE before regulatory bodies and on external working groups
Keeping abreast of key regulatory issues affecting CCAs, and assisting in prioritizing proceedings
Developing formal written comments to regulatory agencies and advising on advocacy strategy
Working with other internal teams to share and learn relevant information
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Technical analysis skills
Ability to assess potential business impacts from proposed regulatory changes
Expert public representation skills
Experience in engaging with complex electric regulatory proceedings
Advocacy skills for business interests at regulatory bodies
Monitoring and advising on regulatory policy and rate-related proceedings
Independent analysis of operational impacts of rate cases and regulatory proceedings
Experience representing organizations before regulatory bodies
Knowledge of key regulatory issues affecting Community Choice Aggregators (CCAs)
Ability to develop formal written comments to regulatory agencies
Experience advising on advocacy strategy
Collaboration skills to work with internal teams
