Responsibilities
Lead and manage building envelope projects from investigation to construction administration
Perform condition assessments and forensic investigations using non-destructive and destructive testing
Conduct design reviews for constructibility, durability, and waterproofing of foundation systems, walls, façades, and roofing assemblies
Oversee enclosure testing activities and perform testing when needed
Serve as the primary client contact, writing proposals, and managing project scopes and service fees
Coordinate with contractors, specialists, and clients, attending meetings and conferences as necessary
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, or Construction Management
10 years of building envelope construction and consulting experience (desired, but flexibility exists for strong candidates)
Knowledge of ASTM, AAMA, and industry standards
Experience with forensic investigations and enclosure testing
Client-facing experience, including proposals and project management
Professional certifications or credentials related to roofing or building enclosure systems
Preferred
Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering background preferred
Background in Architecture or Civil/Structural Engineering
