Graduate Intern (Part-Time)
City of Irving is dedicated to improving government efficiency and effectiveness, and they are seeking a Graduate Intern to participate in the development and implementation of the city’s performance measurement program. The role involves gathering and analyzing data, assisting with process improvement initiatives, and supporting reporting frameworks and surveys.

Responsibilities
Participating in the development and implementation of the city’s performance measurement program including gathering and analyzing data, identifying comparative data, and working with departments to revise and develop goals, objectives, measures, and performance targets
Participating in citywide process improvement initiatives aimed at increasing efficiency and effectiveness of municipal operations
Assisting with the development and continued support of a reporting framework used to translate strategic planning and business planning goals
Assisting with the development and analyses of citywide surveys and conducting corresponding stakeholder focus groups
Assisting with other projects as needed
Duties will require good written and oral communication skills (English) and the ability to research, compile and summarize a variety of informational and statistical data into comprehensive reports

Currently enrolled in, or have completed within the past year, a graduate program with major course work in public or business administration or a related field
