The role involves gathering patient information, assessing clinical trial eligibility, and collaborating with AI tools to enhance trial matching for patients.

Responsibilities
Patient Information Gathering: Review Electronic Health Records (EHR) and synthetic patient data to create comprehensive summaries of clinical conditions and requirements
Database Searching: Perform complex searches across clinical trial databases (e.g., ClinicalTrials.gov) using condition names, biomarkers, and various filters
Eligibility Assessment: Conduct deep-dive reviews of inclusion and exclusion criteria, including washout periods and comorbidities, to determine patient-trial compatibility
Clinical Triage & Analysis: Evaluate trials based on scientific rationale, study design, and site reputation to compile refined shortlists
Risk-Benefit Analysis: Perform comparative risk-benefit analyses of selected trials to determine the most beneficial options for a patient
AI Collaboration: Use and interact with AI tools (e.g., Gemini) to generate agentic traces and provide feedback on AI-generated matching results
Qualification
Required
Medical Expertise: MD, DO, or equivalent clinical degree with a deep understanding of clinical trial protocols
Technical Proficiency: Strong experience working with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and clinical trials databases
Specialized Knowledge: Expert-level ability to interpret inclusion/exclusion criteria and complex medical literature
Analytical Skills: Proven capability in performing complex clinical assessments and comparative risk-benefit analyses
