Responsibilities
Providing and maintaining a therapeutic and safe group environment
Attending to the welfare and basic needs of clients
Provides informal counseling that involve behavioral techniques, reality therapy, supportive encouragement and socialization skills for the clients
Participate with the client in NA/AA meetings, adventure, social and educational outings
Provide transportation to appointments
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Maintain valid state appropriate driver's license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work is Required
Preferred
Peer support experience and/or certification preferred but not required; CPSS, Certified Peer Support Specialist
