They are seeking a Design Engineer Intern to assist in producing engineering drawings, custom designs, and technical illustrations, while also supporting sales and manufacturing teams as needed.

Responsibilities
Produce accurate and clear engineering drawings and accurate bills of material for new and existing products
Create custom designs and layout drawings on CAD system as required on customer order of specifications
Be able to assist Sales with pricing projects
Produce technical illustrations for owner’s manuals, bulletins, and sales literature
Assist with changes and problems related to product design
Assist manufacturing, quality, and planning as required
Other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Enrolled as an Engineering student at a college or university
Ability to work independently
Experience with Solid Works
Must be able to maintain, be responsible for, and keep current on scheduled workload
Strong technical reasoning abilities
Good oral and written communication skills
Basic Solid Modeling proficiency—finite element analysis is a plus
A Basic understanding of truck chassis and related equipment
Must be a team player with high integrity and a strong work ethic to meet company goals
Preferred
Technical knowledge in steel and hydraulics is preferred
