The role involves owning the ServiceNow platform architecture, guiding product owners and developers, and ensuring the platform is scalable and secure.

Responsibilities
Own ServiceNow platform architecture, roadmap, and design standards
Lead alignment across applications, infrastructure, and services
Architect integrations (directory/identity, monitoring/event management, ERP/finance, endpoint management tools)
Establish and enforce development best practices: security, ACL/RBAC, Flow Designer, ATF, release pipelines
Guide product owners, developers, and admins; approve solution designs
Ensure performance, scalability, and upgrade readiness
Build dashboards that show operational value and outcomes (not just activity)
Reduce technical debt; streamline change/incident/problem workflows
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience
ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
Solid ServiceNow experience
Solid experience acting as a ServiceNow Architect or Design Authority
Deep expertise in ITSM (Incident/Problem/Change/Request)
Deep expertise in ITOM
Deep expertise in ITAM
Deep expertise in Security operations
Deep expertise in Strategic portfolio management
Deep expertise in IntegrationHub & Flow Designer
Strong understanding of non-functional requirements: performance, security, upgradeability, and release management
Proven experience leading cross-functional delivery teams
Preferred
ServiceNow support for a large enterprise or public-sector environment
Platform automation: Automated Test Framework (ATF), pipelines, CI/CD
Service Mapping, ITOM, Performance Analytics
Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) — ITSM / Discovery / CMDB / CSDM
Certified Application Developer (CAD)
Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – highly preferred
ITIL v4 Foundation or higher
