This role involves owning features end to end, working closely with a distributed team to create reliable software for frontier AI labs and large-scale research partners.

Responsibilities
Build and evolve frontend systems using React, Next.js, TypeScript , and modern CSS frameworks
Design and ship Python backends (FastAPI / Flask) with secure, high-performance APIs
Own PostgreSQL data modeling, queries, indexing, and migrations
Integrate internal and external APIs to support core product workflows
Deploy and operate services on AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, Lambda)
Maintain strong engineering standards around testing, code quality, and documentation
Communicate clearly in a fast-moving, async, remote environment
Qualification
Required
Strong experience with React + Next.js (SSR, routing, performance) and TypeScript
Solid backend experience in Python, including async patterns and service-oriented design
Practical experience with PostgreSQL performance and schema design
Comfortable operating production workloads on AWS
Clear thinker, strong communicator, and low-ego collaborator
Comfortable owning features end to end and making real-world tradeoffs
Must overlap with PST for at least 6–8 hours per day
Preferred
Experience building products with LLM APIs or AI-driven features
Exposure to prompt engineering, AI workflows, or automation pipelines
Familiarity with agentic systems or multi-step reasoning tools
