Senior Cloud Architect, Data & AI (Pre-Sales)

The Senior Cloud Architect will act as a Data & AI subject matter expert during the sales cycle, supporting the sales team with presales knowledge, demos, and solution positioning while building relationships with clients and collaborating on service proposals.

Responsibilities

Act as the Data & AI subject matter expert during the sales cycle, supporting the US sales team with presales knowledge, demos, and solution positioning
Understand customer Data & AI needs, challenges, and priorities; propose tailored services and Microsoft-based solutions
Build and deliver presentations, assessments/workshops, and technical demonstrations highlighting the value of Aliando’s services and Microsoft Data & AI portfolio
Co-sell with Microsoft Cloud Solution Specialists to uncover and close new Microsoft opportunities across industries
Build relationships with CIOs, CDOs and CTOs of ALIANDO Customers to strengthen pipeline for existing customers
Collaborate with European technical and delivery specialists to design service proposals
Draft and adapt technical and commercial proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements
Defend proposals in front of technical and business stakeholders, managing objections and positioning Aliando’s strengths versus competitors
Stay up to date on Data & AI trends in the US market and how they impact customer needs
Work closely with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies in the Data & AI domain
Support Account Executives in closing business opportunities with enterprise clients across industries

Required

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
5+ years of experience in presales, technical sales, or consulting in Data & AI
Proven track record in Data & AI services sales and positioning in the US market
Deep understanding of Microsoft Data & AI solutions: Microsoft Fabric, Foundry, etc
Knowledge of competing products (AWS, Snowflake, GCP, etc.) to position Microsoft and Aliando services effectively
Strong proposal writing and presentation skills; able to articulate technical and business value clearly to different stakeholders (CIOs, IT leaders, procurement, executives)
Excellent negotiation, objection handling, and deal defense skills
Native or bilingual English (written & spoken)
Microsoft Data & AI Certifications: DP-600, DP-700, PL-300, AI-900

Preferred

Postgraduate studies (Master, MBA, or equivalent) in Cybersecurity strongly preferred
Spanish is a plus
Cloud certifications (Azure, AWS, GCP) are a plus
