Responsibilities
Support installation, commissioning, and field service of high-performance marine diesel engines
Maintain and troubleshoot Steyr diesel propulsion engines, including mechanical, electrical, and engine control systems
Diagnose complex mechanical and engine control issues in operational environments
Work with ECU/ECM-based engine platforms
Troubleshoot electrical systems, sensors, and wiring faults
Work with CAN bus / J1939 engine communication networks
Provide technical support during vessel testing, deployment, and operations
Act as a senior technical escalation point for propulsion-related issues
Qualification
Required
Strong hands-on experience working with Steyr diesel engine platforms
Advanced diagnostics and system-level troubleshooting capability
Experience in engine installation, commissioning, and fault finding
Solid understanding of engine electrical systems
Experience working with CAN bus / J1939
Preferred
Backgrounds in marine propulsion, naval/military engineering, or mission-critical diesel systems using Steyr platforms
