Responsibilities
Deliver TNT instruction IAW proponent-approved Lesson Plans and Programs of Instruction (POI)
Administer automated, written, and hands-on testing and conduct After Action Reviews (AARs)
Maintain student attendance and graded performance records within the Defense Training Management System (DTMS)
Identify and recommend corrective actions for routine technical problems with training equipment and computers
Provide facilitate hands-on Practical Exercises on TNT equipment found at a Brigade Combat Team (BCT)
Inject troubleshooting requirements and provide "lessons learned" to prepare students for operational success
Conduct test item analysis on all exams to identify trends and recommend curriculum updates
Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to provide overviews or equipment briefings to official visitors
Qualification
Required
Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an instructor of adult learners in DoD tactical communications/technical military training OR 3 years of direct support of DoD tactical communications networks (must have occurred between March 2021 and March 2026)
Education: Associate's degree in a Technical or Business discipline (4 years of instructional experience may be substituted for the degree)
Certifications: Must have a certification or have received certification-level training in CompTIA Network+, Security+, CCNA Routing and Switching, or VMware Certified Professional
Professional Certification: Must have graduated from a TRADOC Army Basic Instructor Course (ABIC), FIFC, or CFD-IC within the last 5 years
Experience: At least 6 years of experience as an instructor of adult learners in a related technical field OR 4 years of direct work in the career field (must have occurred between March 2021 and March 2026)
Education: Bachelor's degree in a Technical or Business discipline (8 years of additional experience may be substituted for the degree)
Certifications: Professional certification or certification-level training in proprietary product network operating systems such as CompTIA Net+, Security+, CCNA, or VMware Certified Professional
Professional Certification: Must be a graduate of TRADOC ABIC, FIFC, or CFD-IC within the last 5 years
