Responsibilities
10 to 14 years of total experience in IT Security and/or Cybersecurity, with a strong focus on Infrastructure, Endpoint, and Network Security
Expert knowledge of Microsoft 365 Security (Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365 Security Center, Microsoft Purview Compliance Portal)
Proven experience implementing and operating Conditional Access, MFA, security baselines, configuration profiles, and automated compliance policies
Hands-on experience with Network Security technologies: Configuring Next-Gen Firewalls (FortiGate, Palo Alto Prisma, or Zscaler). Implementing micro-segmentation to restrict traffic and enforce Zero Trust. Deploying and troubleshooting Always On VPN or modern remote access solutions
Deep expertise in OS Security Hardening for both Windows AND Linux servers/endpoints (using CIS Benchmarks or DISA STIGs)
Demonstrated experience coordinating and managing penetration testing campaigns; ability to interpret technical pentest reports and translate findings into actionable remediation
Strong understanding of CIS Controls, NIST, and at least two major compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, SOC 2, FedRAMP, GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001), with experience supporting audits or assessments
Demonstrated ability to produce audit-ready documentation and drive remediation of identified security and compliance gaps
Proficiency with PowerShell (and/or other scripting) for automation, bulk changes, and reporting
Working knowledge of Network Fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewall rules, IPSec/SSL VPN, BGP) to support end-to-end incident analysis
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills; comfortable working cross-functionally with IT, Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and SOC teams
